John Yani Arrasjid is currently a Field Principal and Solutions Architect focused on the financial industry. Prior to this he was CTO/CIO at a startup focused on intelligent validation of systems and sensors in the autonomous vehicle space using AI, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning to increase accuracy, shorten analysis time, and reduce cost. He has spent a lifetime working as an innovation architect and technical evangelist in his roles. John is co-founder of the IT Architect Series. He is an author with multiple publishing houses on multiple technical topics. He has worked on patents covering workload modeling (2), blockchain, and accelerator resource management. Aylin is Co-Founder and CTO of Runecast, leading IT innovation, product design, and development. Prior to Runecast, he worked at IBM leading large-scale virtualization and consolidation projects for IBM’s enterprise customers and heading IBM’s EMEA VMware Best Practice Group. Beyond his VMware vExpert status, he is passionate about everything cloud, automation, and mobile, and spends his free time biking with his family, reading Sci-Fi, and traveling.

Wade is a Systems Engineer at Runecast. He is a 25 year IT veteran with many years spent working for fortune 100 companies as a Sr. Vmware Engineer. He is an SME on vSphere, and was previously a Virtual Solutions IT Manager at DXC Technology.

Michiel is a seasoned IT security professional with over 12 years of experience under his belt. He has had the privilege of working with top tech giants, such as McAfee and Intel, where he honed his skills in channel enablement and technical security education. Currently, Michiel is a Global Enablement Manager at Runecast, where he is responsible for spearheading the upliftment of industry skills and knowledge amongst the sales and technical representatives. His primary focus is to equip them with the tools they need to succeed in their roles and to stay ahead of industry trends. In addition, Michiel is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others and has a proven track record of success in developing and implementing innovative training programs that drive business results.

Tom’s specialization at Runecast is in Kubernetes infrastructure design and deployment. He is also experienced with VMware vSphere virtualization platform design and maintenance, Windows network design, administration, monitoring, as well as database and application servers clustering. Prior to joining Runecast, Tomas was an Infrastructure architect for one of Europe’s largest online fragrance and beauty retailers.

Basim is an experienced Senior Leader with over 21+ Years of experience in leading, strategic planning, operating and developing a complex ICT Infrastructure in the challenging Aviation and Banking sector. Basim is a highly driven leader who emphasizes on the development of the indigenous ICT Talents with the ultimate aim of establishing a self-sufficient and self-sustaining ICT organization. With rich experience at the senior leadership level and involvement in complex IT Infrastructure projects, Basim is well suited to identify, innovate, develop and execute Digital Transformation road maps in alignment with the ultimate objective of the organization.

Steve Salisbury has an IT background spanning eLearning production, programming, and software and hardware consultancy. On migrating to the Czech Republic he taught computing at Prague College and moved on to work for HPE and CA Technologies, before finding his new home at Runecast. With degrees in pedagogy, computing, and music production, Steve’s broad skill set enables him to be proactive in many areas of work and home life. As well as enjoying outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and cycling with his friends and family, Steve is a huge music fan and writes his own songs, plays numerous instruments, and enjoys time in his recording studio producing his own music.

Steve is an experienced Technical Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Strong information technology professional skilled in the Runecast platform, Xen, Storage Area Network (SAN), Domain Name System (DNS), System Deployment, and VDI.

Simon is a passionate Technologist and System Sales Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the IT industry. He has an extensive experience in Operating Systems, Virtualization, Networks, Cloud, and Data & Information Management that he often shares with Runecast customers. Simon is passionate about understanding the business drivers of organizations and advising the most appropriate solution to their needs.

Markus Strauss, Chief Product Officer, brings 20+ years of experience in risk management, cybersecurity, and performance monitoring to Runecast. He's led teams at SolarWinds, McAfee, GE, New Relic and more. When not driving the future of enterprise solutions, he can be found tinkering with classic motorcycles or taking a scenic ride along the Irish coast.
