Runecast Pricing

Our pricing is based on the number of Billable Assets (BAs) and/or the number of CPUs. Runecast Technical Support is included at no additional charge.

For VMware technologies, the licensing model is based on the number of CPU sockets in the licensed ESXi hosts (neither number of cores nor VMs matter).

Licensing/Pricing is available with 1-year and 3-year subscription options.
OS (Windows and Linux)

For operating systems, a BA is a Windows or Linux asset/agent. Windows and Linux server/desktops are licensed in the same way regardless of whether they run in a virtual or physical machine, on-prem or in the cloud. Licensing is not dependent on other Runecast modules (VMware, AWS, Azure, etc.). Each module is licensed separately, with billing on an annual basis.
AWS, Azure, Google Cloud & Kubernetes

For Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud (formerly Google Cloud Platform or GCP) technologies, licensing/pricing is based per BAs, per month, with a 1-year license. For Kubernetes technologies, licensing is based on BAs, with Nodes (containing at least one pod) considered BAs.
